Bye bye Bobacat
Bobacat was one of my favourite places to hang out when i visit Gent, i was originally introduced to this place by a mutual friend with the owner, she was looking for local artists to fill the artist market section of her shop. I used to sell my art at this cafe and ive really cherished what they did for the local art community.
My usual order here was the tai classic with tapioca boba which is so good, since coming here i haven't really found another place that makes bubble teas and specialty drinks as good as they do. i also like to try the seasonal menu whenever i can.

Bobacat has closed as of august 2026 and i'll miss it, ive come here so many time and every time you walked through its doors i was always greeted by familiar faces and people who are happy to see you. Ive made so many good memories here, always something to share, from the game nights, artist cafes to the times i would come in to work here or just chat to the owner. Bobacat created its own community that ive seen flourish and im sad to see it go.
